Amateur, hobby vaporwave artist from Slovakia. His genres of interest are Zoomerwave/Zilleniwave (Neo-vapor/Vaporvapor), Hauntology, Mallsoft.

Correctly rendered newgene MCMXCIX, (name) stands for/means: "new generation (new gene(s)), e(lectronic)";[2] MCMXCIX means (is) "1999" in roman numerals, birthyear ("MATRIX"[3]-generation) of author.

His primal vaporwave interest began[4] after discovery of the genre in circa(?) 2018 with "Plastic Love mania"[5], which led to discovery of future funk via Saint Pepsi (or, Skylar Spence) track, either Cherry Pepsi,[6] or even Private Caller[6] (Better), and later on into other vaporwave, like (while not vw directly) Vanilla - Summer (and others), ｍ aｉ t ｒ o - INDIGO PLATEAU!, VECTOR GRAPHICS - DESTINE ... (via ElFamosoDemon and other "providers", e.g. Sun Levi.)

His first playlist, tracks,[4] was (were) inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion (below), EVA: Plug suit/:E TEST.[7] It was experiment(s) with "8-D" sound binaural track(s), creating illusion of 3D ("8D") sound, whirling around one's head. Later followed with need, urge to create but not-so-yet versed into vaporwave or sampling, nor culture (which he would ignore anyway), know-how or even idea of what he does, he "slams" piano sounds on onlinesequencer.net/, creating rather non-vaporwave tracks, first, from sheer need to "self-realize", kill loneliness e.g..

First "vaporwave" tracks are zoomerwave-styled, yet not totally "tiktofied" (post-vaporwave; pop. genres there are phonk, techno, dnb...) - but rather of "modern (~2020) zoomer" glory for e.g. phonk and daycore, - samples of old melodic pop-, but not "happy"-sounding songs* - styled in rather yet-to-be-realized, -named, -compiled muzak-style mallsoft - akin to sounds of (to him) then-unknown t e l e p a t h. Later, returning to self-made piano "bangers-slammers" yet again, later, to fall within vaporwave again.

This time, for all the grunge, failing for self-hated "genre of tiktok", he returns (as) to web-coined "zoomerwave", a.k.a. samples of (y2k) 90s-10s girls-pop music.(*) He goes for re-vapor, renaissance, return of basics, classic, maybe to hate of all, old-style eccojams-type tunes. From eccojams, collage, duet-edit, earrape-compression to total broken,-deathdream "alien transmissions" - towards attempts to revisit classics of the classics[8] - this artist is beating his own drum...

As 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬[]

His more mallsoft, doomerwave, deathdreamesque-oriented music (arts) can be found under alias 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, which is named for/after how people change themselves under observation/supervision (the panopticon effect (2)(3)(4))[9], here. Referred to behavior in malls and-or when in (then-)huge crowds in-group and as-selves. On both (monikers), he uses few colors, pixelized or overblown (deep-fried) or just-black (no visuals) pictures for his music videos, streams (sound-only) media/albums/songs-covers (edits).

Windows Vista Nostalgia "Vaporwave"[]

As name says, Windows Vista Nostalgia "Vaporwave" (released near end of July, 2024)[2] consists of vapormeme songs (edits) used as demo for their product in early-mid 2000s, early/younger half of 2010s. - Tags: #"Vaporwave" #WindowsVista[3] #NostalgiaVaporwave[4]...[5] [Abridged] - Slowed, Lo-Fi and Lo-Qlty Vapormeme Zoomerwave Hauntology Lazy Edit of "Classics" (not to confuse with "Aryan classics"[6])[7] of ones' childhood...

In mid-September 2025, new "plunderphonics" T e l e p a t h-alike edit, named Windows Vista - Hauntology-Nostalgia "Vaporwave",[8] was released. Another plan is to either link-hide this next "test" and make (third,) scizzie-type edit (akin of frutiger aero),[9] or make it trilogy - slowed down · earrape · "ambience[10]"...

This (third-type edit) was realized near the tail-end of AD 2025, with yet-to-be-named aero-aquatic edit of the same "playlist" songs.

ＹＥＥ▲▲ＲＮＩＮＧ (simpsonwave)(type 2) · ＹＥ▲ＲＮＩＮＧ (simpsonwave)(type 1)[]

These two edits of Simpsons "simpsonwave" (yet, not per-say) contain clip of Bart, Lisa and other kids and other Springfield characters on ComicCon-type festival, where Simpsons kids (and Milhouse) annoys the hell out of comics artists. In end, Comic Book Guy snaps...

Both taken from "Alan Moore, Art Spiegelman and Dan Clowes in The Simpsons", by Alan Moore Archive(795), on Youtube[11] - made/slowed down from 3:14 minute, towards 25:22 minutes.

Clip 1 (ＹＥ▲ＲＮＩＮＧ)[12] uses free music samples from MS-Clipchamp Editor and original video footage. Clip 2 (ＹＥＥ▲▲ＲＮＩＮＧ)[12] uses slowed-down song sample loop (and accidental spoon with glass and water "sample" record) "Spanish Coffee - Frank Mills" (nod to 1998 kids piano sample music sound), (with) based on same principle as one/that before.

EVA: Plug suit/:E TEST album compilation[]

Follows, as name suggests, (Neon Genesis) Evangelion-inspired tracks (remixes/samples).[14] Tracks all seem to follow 8-D structure (descr. below) and are as follows:

[Upon further inspection, you may notice, in fact, that moniker of this EVA-franchise gave (started) him name (newgene MCMXCIX; sometimes rendered as newgen ə[15].]

Night of Hearts (mix) [Yoko Takahashi - Kokoro yo Genshi ni Modore & A. Gubin - Noch(/Night)][16] - it is ambisonic biaural two-song experiment, done in Audacity Software, inspired by Gurov's "Evangelion opening but it's Russian doomer music (Андрей Губин - Ночь / Gubin - Noch (Night)",[16] and "Virtual Barber Shop (Audio...use headphones, close ur eyes)".[16]

evangelion - tsubasa + sayonara - same "8-D/virtual barbershop" principle(?), but with two contradictory songs, Tsubasa wo Kudasai and Kyou no Hi wa Sayonara.[17]

POV: You got absorbed by your EVA follows the same principle with trash-boosted, one-song (and back/echo-refrains) 8-D edit of Kyou no Hi wa Sayonara, which is supposed to give illusion of listener melting in-together with "waters" of LCL, within the Entry-Plug of their EVA (together, eponymous style[13] convention carried onto album - "EVA: Plug suit/:E TEST").[17]

Short jingles (x3) is set of (online/web/digital) piano-composed tunes from author's onlinesequencer.net they somewhat happen to be listenable and sound like EVA music (esp. first half of "Next episode"[18] jingle).[17]

Dark Mallsoft For Lonely Souls[]

Album consists of either 18 (17), 15 tracks. As name says, it is basically mallsoft, but instead of "happy merry-go-round musak in middle of it and joy, cheer, twit -filled air", it is "hauntology-full liminal-space (not empty, no calm, no/not silent - but walking thru invisible bodies of what-used-to-be...) hell, or either, purgatorium..."
